Crédit Industriel et Commercial (CIC) is a French banking group founded in 1859 and comprising six regional banks in France and one abroad (Luxembourg). CIC has 2,067 branches spread across the whole of France and employs over 21,000 staff. It also owns 95 per cent of the mobile virtual network operator NRJ Mobile. In 1998, the acquisition of 68 per cent of its shares by the Banque fédérative Crédit mutuel (BFCM) for €2.04 billion led to the formation of the Crédit mutuel-CIC (CM-CIC) group.

J'étais cliente à la CIC, ma famille avait ouvert un compte il y a des années. Je n'avais aucunes nouvelles de la position du compte du coup je suis retournée pour le fermer. L'agent de banque n'y a pas vu d'inconvénient et à très bien fait son travail. Par contre la somme sur le compte avait largement diminuée en frais divers..
